The roleFit-out ManagerYour responsibilities will include: Assisting the team in the delivery of retail fit-out projects for a global client with presence across the Indian market. Assisting the development of the project management strategy in line with the Mace way. Managing the procurement of sub-consultants and subcontractors required for all of the construction packages. Working alongside with the senior project manager for the design management, delivery, quality time, cost and handover of these key packages. Supporting in the preparation of programs for the design, construction and general delivery of projects. Managing the day to day activities and interfaces for support staff allocated to assist in the delivery of the projects. Preparing and monitoring forecasts, initiate corrective action where required. Conducting meetings as required for the effective delivery of projects. Providing reports that are concise and address the issues that are relevant to recipient. Reviewing overall project status with the project management, project controls and commercial teams and recommend corrective action where necessary. The requirementsYour experience, knowledge and skills need to include: Minimum 7-10 years experience in fit-out projects, with progressive experience covering 2-3 projects such as retail malls, hotels, high-end commercial buildings and etc. Delivery of high quality finishes experience. Knowledge of construction materials and good works practices. Ability to work as effective team member. Ability to supervise people. Indian experience is useful. International project delivery experience is beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indian languages. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Good knowledge of IT. QualificationsA bachelor degree in civil engineering. With professional memberships. Mace is an equal opportunity employer.
