What you bring:
• Should be willing to work in US Day Shift (India Night 6.30 pm to 3.30 am IST). Certifications in WAS, MQ is a plus but not mandatory.
• 1) Extensive technical knowledge on Middleware Technologies (WebSphere MQ, Websphere Application Server, JBoss EAP, JBoss EWS )2) Installation and configuration of Middleware Products (WebSpher MQ, Websphere Application Server, JBoss EAP, JBoss EWS, IBM HTTP Server, Apache Web Server)3) Hands on Experience in Shell Scripting, Jython and Python Scripting4) Experience in Production Support 24x7 including Incident, Change and Problem Management.5) Raising support cases for critical incidents.6) Extensive troubleshooting knowledge on Websphere Application Server, JBoss, IBM MQ7) Hands on experience in Unix Platforms (AIX, SunOS, Linux)8) Hands on experience in working with monitoring tools like Wily, Splunk etc.9) Hands on experience in working with SSL certificates - raising CSR, importing and exporting certificates, PKI, knowledge on SSL terminologies.10) Hands on experience in anyone Load Balancers BIGIP or Netscaler.11) Proactive support for the day-to-day Service Requests, Change Requests and Incidents.12) Knowledge on SLA, OLA and MTTR
What you will be doing:
• Involving in Production Support
• Handles inquiries and resolves issues.
• Assists in daily coordination of various assigned projects.
• Handles Environmental Impact Analysis, Install Plans and Operational Readiness procedures
• Deploys code in WebSphere, Tomcat & JBOSS environments.
• Code and support Linux/UNIX scripts to automate processes.
• Performs day-to-day production support activities such as web server recycles, troubleshooting issues, etc.
• Determines gaps in procedures/processes and come up with suggestions/recommendation for improvement.
• Assist with Server Network related issues or configurations.
• Develops technical designs that will meet system objectives and minimize the impact on operations
• Performs other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Bonus if you have
• Good in Ansible & PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in messaging such as IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ
• Experience with Splunk.
