Job Description

Front End Developer - Content Mgmt. Systems ( CMS )Job Description

  • Coding on approved User Experience (UX)designs into working web page templates in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
  • Integrate pages into content management systems
  • Develop code libraries that can be used for multiple projects
  • Review code, layout, and design for projects
  • Contribute to a team of back-end developers
  • Create new methods for improving efficiency
  • Report status on regular basis
  • Participate in Planning, daily stand-up and review meetings
Skills RequiredTechnical (Mandatory)
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience in working with Bootstrap controls and Responsive Design
  • Experience with Twig template engine
  • Knowledge of PHP
  • Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as Sass
  • Experience with build tools such as Gulp
  • Experience working in Cloud-based Development environments (AWS/Azure)
  • Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines and protocols
  • Working knowledge of front-end performance optimization
Technical (Optional)
  • Experience with Drupal CMS
  • Experience with Git version control
Non-Technical/Supporting skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to work autonomously and manage workload and deadlines effectively
