Full Stack Engineer (HID3277) HID Global HID Global takes innovative approaches to helping organizations and governments become more secure and productive by protecting the people, data and things most important to them. We offer integrated solutions for creating, managing and using trusted identities, differentiated by a convenient and remarkable user experience.The Full Stack Engineer position will work collaboratively with software engineering, and security to manage and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.Be responsible for capacity management and planning.The Full Stack Engineer position will work on complex, major, or highly visible tasks in support of multiple projects that require multiple areas of expertise.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required.Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop/ build IT solutions to meet business requirements. Install and configures solutions. Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework. Verify the functionality of components and services and ensures deployment meets expectations. Manage and maintain infrastructure systems including networking equipment such as firewalls, switches, routers, wireless networks as well as virtualization platforms, SANs and infrastructure applications. Create and maintain documentation including inventory information and network diagrams. Interact and assist with managing vendors and partners. Actively participate in cross- functional process improvement teams, collaborating with other departments. Participate in on- call duty and perform occasional after hours work as needed to support business needs; attend and participate in departmental meetings. Maintain appropriate communication levels with both internal teams and outsourced vendors. Infrequent travel may be required based on business needs. Education and/ or Experience Bachelor degree in business, computer science, a related technical degree or equivalent Five years experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support Minimum of two years consulting experience Subject matter expert knowledge for NetApp and vSphere/ vCenter Knowledge of Layer 2 3 Switching Ability to manage and deploy network changes, including firewalls and access lists Provide expertise for VPN installed networks Knowledge of Storage Area Networking (fiber channel switches) a plus Knowledge of security issues and implications to network solutions a plus Ability to travel average of 15% Ability to work weekends and/ or off hours as necessary Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment Additional Preferred Skills VMware vRealize Automation VMware vCenter Orchestrator Language Skills Customer Expectations Team player with the appropriate aptitude and underlying intellect. Positive attitude and open to share and collaborate in the team setting. Good communication skills.
