Driving process reengineering projects, challenging the status quo within the business processes, Tax accounting treatment (Both Direct and Indirect taxes) and Tax financial reporting. b. Defining and implementing global standard process for tax accounting, tax reconciliations and other task performed by Accounting team. c. Engage with other teams and senior stakeholders within tax and accounting function to ensure alignment on the process and roles and responsibility. d. Documenting tax process maps in Business Enterprise Studio (BES), aligning with various other teams involved in end to end tax processes and onboarding the Senior FPOs and GPLs to the process maps.e. Evaluate the efforts and time spent for each tax accounting task performed by accounting team in the process maps, strive to eliminate the non-value-added task, automate mandatory steps and ensure adherence to the policy and guidance. f. Be a process expert and voice of accounting team in various forums and meeting with cross functional teams like taxes, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Upstream sales and procurement teams. g. Drafting user stories, testing and Implementing various automation initiatives in our finance systems. h. Global tax process and tax settlement process between inter-company.i. Try to minimize inefficiencies in the existing Tax accounting process in ATR by requesting and driving relevant upstream and downstream changes. j. Identifies and gain expertise on new technologies that can cater to further improvement of ATR processes e.g. Blackline, OneStream, S4-Hana etc.Drive Standardization, compliance and adherence to controls a. Develop and update Global process landscape & Standard Operating Procedures which act as significant source of guidance for the ATRb. Developing processes to reduce exceptions and bringing continuous standardization in line with industry benchmarksc. Communication with the organization emphasizing the drive for standardization & adherence to set controls. Open two-way communication with organization on any areas requiring further reviewd. Critically review and assess the potential solutions against the business requirements, providing best in class IT solution at end to end scale.e. Evaluate the processes on end to end scale & work towards optimal standard solutions leading to automated efficient processes.f. Prepare and improve accounting policies to suit current business environmentg. Implement new process solutions and technology to meet financial standard reporting requirements of IFRS and GAAP.Show More We are looking forGraduate /Post Graduate from recognized university. Qualified Chartered Accountant, or CPA or ACCA or MBA from premier institute Minimum 7-10 years experience with large, global, multinational organizations Strong knowledge of Tax accounting Processes and various type of taxes applicable to a Transport and Logistic industry across globe. Knowledge of S4-hana tools like ACR, PAPM is an added advantage. Deep understanding of end to end business continuum (value chain) of at least one industry (not just restricted to Finance) Understanding and experience in Finance system implementation projects, hands on experiences on technologies like SAP S4 HANA, RAR, FICA, SAC etc. preferable. Strong understanding of finance and business drivers preferably in Shipping, Logistics and supply or related industry Have the ability to manage change understand concepts of change management with demonstrated capabilities Able to consistently demonstrate & live cultural dimensions of Simplicity, Focus & Teamwork Good team player and someone willing to work beyond known boundaries of capabilities.Show More,
