Job Description

    Role & responsibilities :
    • Maintaining books and records for multiple fund of hedge funds utilizing general ledger accounting system.
    • Reconciling records with third party administrators. Internal and external performance reporting.
    • Handling fund-of-funds cash management, including investor and manager subscription/redemption activity, account balances, expense monitoring and credit facility.
    • Maintaining liquidity schedules and governing agreements. Interacting with external managers, administrators and custodians.
    • Major in accounting, math or business preferred. Minimum GPA of 3. 0 strongly preferred. Specific knowledge of the fund of funds industry preferred.
    • Proficiency in Excel required; Strong analytical and computer skills are a must. Prior experience with a general ledger accounting system a plus.
    • Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills required. Strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills are required
    Preferred candidate profile Should have experience in Fund Accounting. Qualifications: Related work experience required, preferably in a similar position at a fund administrator or hedge fund.
