Job Description

    Job Title: GCP Data EngineerJob Description:We are looking for a skilled GCP Data Engineer with a strong foundation in designing and implementing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have in-depth experience in programming with Java, Python, or Spark on GCP, and should be proficient with big data technologies.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for both ETL and ELT processes.
    • Manage and optimize data movement, processing, and transformation.
    • Apply Agile methodologies in data engineering tasks.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide solutions to complex data-related problems.
    Required Skills:
    • Expertise in GCP and core data engineering concepts.
    • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Spark (PySpark).
    • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Cloud Composer (Airflow), and BigQuery.
    • Deep understanding of SQL and hands-on experience in building efficient data pipelines.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience with GCP tools such as Dataflow, Dataproc, and Apache Beam for pipeline development.
    • Familiarity with additional GCP services like Datastore, Bigtable, Spanner, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
    • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification is an advantage.
    Experience: 6 to 12 years.Location: Pan India (All Capgemini Locations).Work Mode: Hybrid (work from office and remote).
