Job Description

    Role Overview:As the Finance Head at Broekman Logistics Indias Corporate Office in Chennai, you will be responsible for leading the financial operations, reporting, governance, and team leadership. You will ensure a solid and reliable financial administration aligned with the ERP system, manage back-office and centralized finance operations, and oversee compliance and internal controls by establishing clear SOPs. Additionally, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, taxation, insurance matters, and play a key role in ERP optimization projects and process improvements.Key Responsibilities:- Lead financial operations, including group consolidation, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and working capital reports- Establish and maintain clear SOPs for compliance and internal controls- Manage receivables, drive improvements in cash flow, and oversee annual external reporting under GAAP- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business heads- Oversee taxation, insurance matters, and projects related to ERP optimization and process improvementsQualifications Required:- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in international business environments- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Shared Service Center, Freight Forwarding sector, or mid-sized multinational organization- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing finance teams- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance- Excellent communication, influencing skills, and strong analytical capabilitiesAdditional Company Details (if applicable):Broekman Logistics is a full-service logistics provider specializing in international freight forwarding, warehousing & distribution, breakbulk terminals, and shipping globally. Established in 1988 in India, the organization is headquartered in Chennai with 14 branch offices across the country. As the Finance Head, you will lead a team of 18 colleagues in Chennai and 7 branch accountants across India, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Broekman Logistics India. You will play a crucial role in driving financial governance, efficiency, and process optimization while working closely with senior management and international stakeholders.
