Roles and ResponsibilitiesFund Accounting is a fast growing and dynamic department within Company. We cater to clients globally with a large operational center in Chennai and Mumbai. All the fund accounting processes are centralized in India and with this comes the need to emerge as a knowledge center. The department aims to create experts in the fund accounting business and so Training & quality are given high importance. The department aims to create a superior training module and training delivery center to support its training requirement for India and other international fund accounting locations. We require a leader to drive the training and quality function within Fund accounting and act as a change catalystResponsibilitiesHead the training and quality function within fund accounting department.Create, own and execute the strategy for training function and align with the department objectivesCreate a strong governance between operations and training team with an objective to collaborate together to identify training needs, new joiners onboarding and induction/ongoing training support.Create and sustain a world class training facility in India for Fund accounting processes that include catalog creation, building highly professional training modules for level1 and level 2 trainings, building training video and other innovative delivery opportunities etc.Collaborate with the central training teams and Learning & Development teams within Company to ensure all training topics are addressed for the fund accounting department.Publish dashboards to senior management on training progress, new joiner induction etcLead a team of 3 highly talented trainers & 1 Quality officer (Creative objectives/monitor performance/provide feedback /support career progression etc)Create a strong governance on incident reporting, analysis and preventive measures. Work with relevant stakeholders in Risk team and operations to ensure all risk related topic such as Risk Mapping & Assessment , Internal and External Audit , Incident management and risk mitigation etc are addressed.Connect with various onsite location ops/risk team to bring standard preventive measures to address operational gaps/risks identified during analysis of process Incidents Drive internal quality control measures within the departmentProactively assess the gaps in process and propose mitigation actionsEnsure quality philosophy is inculcated in every team members right from onboarding Technical & Behavioral CompetenciesOverall 12 to 15 years plus experience with at least 5 years in training or quality functionAbility to drive a function independently.End to End exposure in Fund Accounting Stream with knowledge of Mutual Fund, Pension Fund, Hedge Fund Accounting will be added advantageInterest and/or Experience in TransformationResources Hiring and Training SkillInternal and External Audit ManagementBe able to express ideas effectively in individual and group situationsAbility to work in an organized manner.Generate creative solutions to problems.Always looks for ways to improve services and processes.Be able to adapt to markets and clients evolution.Specific QualificationsAccounting/Commerce / ManagementSkills ReferentialBehaviouralSkills:Attention to detail / rigorAbility to collaborate / TeamworkCommunication skills - oral & writtenClient focused / Leadership /Strategic decision makingTransversal Skills:Ability to understand, explain and support changeAbility to develop and adapt a processAbility to develop and leverage networksAnalytical AbilityAbility to inspire others & generate peoples commitmentQualifications - ExternalEducation Level:Bachelor Degree or equivalentExperience LevelAt least 12 year,
