1.Should have good knowledge on working principle of Powertrain & Vehicle systems2.Should have good fundamentals - Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics3.Should be able to do finite volume modelling of Powertrain components and Vehicle Systems. (4) Should be able to assign boundary conditions & material properties to components. (5) Should be able to differentiate between steady & transient simulations. Should be able to choose the appropriate mode of heat transfer for a given problem.6) Should be able to apply Boundary conditions required for steady and transient analysis. (7) Should be able to carry out Pressure drops, Flow distribution, Filling time, Sloshing pattern and conjugate heat transfer analysis for Engine components and Vehicle systems.(8)Should be able to conduct simulations of Air Intake System, Exhaust System, Fuel Tank Filling, Oil Pan sloshing,Cooling Jacket, Cooling Circuit system, Intake Manifold, Exhaust Manifold and Transmission9.Ability to postprocess results, make reports and present results to design team.10.Should be able to recommend design modifications to meet acceptance criteria based on analysis results, manufacturing and packaging constraints.11. Should have knowledge of different tests for Engine components, Vehicle systems and test instrumentations.
