Job Description

ROLE SUMMARYThis role would be based out of Corporate office in Chennai. The person would work with the team to ensure

  • Compliance to GST Act
  • Representations before the GST authorities
  • Indirect Tax accounting and reconciliations
  • Designing and implementing tax optimization strategies
Tax audits and returns filing.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform filing and ensure compliance of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly returns under GSTPerform review of general ledgers for GST balances and reconciliation with returns on monthly basis.
  • Review transnational activities on input credit, invoice, ISD etc.,Prepare refund application under GST lawsReview monthly Indirect tax GST entries before the book closeRepresent on various notices, letters and other information as and when requested before GST authoritiesCoordinate with respective plant finance team for monthly activities relating to GST returnsPreparation of GST input reconciliations on monthly basis
  • Support in annual and periodical audit exercises
  • Contribute, participate and support in various systems improvement activities, as and when identified by management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A relevant Bachelors degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce);
  • Chartered accountant with 5 years post qualification experience
