Job Description

VP Sales Reporting ToDirect to CEO Experience Range10 15 Years LocationBangalore/ Chennai Desired Skill Set Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions. Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement possibly more important than the first item on this list. Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results. Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions. Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets. Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach. Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction. Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials. Represent the company at various community and/ or business meetings to promote the company. Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting. Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations. Serve on planning and policy-making committees. Refine overall brand positioning, USP and create brand guidelines. Promote and enhance the brand and brand image. Prepare market research and competitor analysis with continual updates. Define Target Markets and develop applicable pricing models. Manage advertising schedules and create/ implement design concepts. Make a demonstrable contribution towards the companys program of continuous improvement. Ensure the sales team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organization of the departments workload. Liaise with the Corporate Marketing and Communications and PR team. Promote and act in accordance with company values, systems, policies and procedures. Report to the board when required.
