Job Description

    We have an vacancy for HR (Manager) Experience :5-10yrsQualification : MBALocation : Corporate office : Alwarpet, chennai.Factory : Sriperumbudur, Chennai.Roles and Responsibilities:1. Recruitment and StaffingHire skilled labour and technical staff to meet production demands.Manage staffing levels for multiple shifts and overtime requirements.Conduct background checks and ensure necessary certifications for specialized roles.2. Training and DevelopmentConduct skill development programs tailored to factory roles (e.g., machine handling, quality control).Organize training sessions on safety protocols and industrial practices.Develop cross-functional training programs to improve workforce flexibility.3. Employee RelationsMediate disputes between management and factory workers.Address grievances promptly to maintain morale and productivity.Foster a culture of respect and collaboration among workers.4. Payroll and Attendance ManagementMonitor attendance and manage shift scheduling effectively.Oversee payroll, including calculations for overtime, incentives, and deductions.Ensure timely processing of wages for laborers.5. Compliance and Legal ObligationsEnsure adherence to labour laws, including minimum wages, working hours, and leave policies.Maintain records for statutory compliance such as PF, ESI, and factory licenses.Coordinate inspections by government bodies and address audit queries.6. Health, Safety, and WelfareImplement and monitor safety protocols for workers and machinery.Conduct regular safety drills and ensure availability of first-aid and emergency equipment.Ensure proper working conditions, including ventilation, lighting, and hygiene.7. Performance ManagementConduct periodic appraisals of workers and supervisors.Develop reward systems for high-performing employees to boost productivity.Address underperformance and provide necessary support or training.8. Workforce Engagement and RetentionOrganize welfare programs, such as health camps or recreational activities.Manage worker unions and ensure their demands are handled tactfully.Develop strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.9. Administrative DutiesMaintain detailed records of employees, attendance, shifts, and payroll.Oversee housekeeping, canteen, and transportation facilities for workers.Handle documentation for promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.10. Crisis ManagementAct as the point of contact during emergencies like industrial accidents or machinery breakdowns.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for unforeseen disruptions.
