Job Description

    • Recruit and manage delivery riders across your coverage area.
    • Ensure each rider has a valid licence, vehicle in good condition, and smartphones/apps working.
    • Plan daily rider shifts and allocate routes to maximise on-time deliveries.
    • Monitor rider performance: number of deliveries, failed attempts, feedback.
    • Coordinate with the hub/dispatch team to ensure parcels are ready and loaded correctly.
    • Enforce safety standards: rider must wear helmet, follow traffic rules, maintain vehicle.
    • Handle rider attendance, payroll, incentives, and address grievances/escorts.
    • Track costs: fuel, maintenance, per-delivery payout, route efficiency.
    • Implement process improvements: reduce failed deliveries, optimise routes, lower cost.
    • Provide basic reports everyday: rider count, deliveries done, issues encountered, targets for next day.
