Job Description

    Job summary Quality Services (QS) is 1000+ member organization providing manual test services for a wide range of Amazon products and operates out of Chennai, India and Arlington, VA. Test services include regression testing, new feature testing, accessibility testing using diversity workforce, localisation testing to support international marketplace testing and interoperability testing across 1P / 3P devices for services.We support a total of 65+ product teams including Amazon Devices (Alexa Devices, Health & Wellness, Ring etc ), Consumer apps and services (Audible, Delivery Apps, etc ), AWS (WorkDocs, Chime etc ), Advertising Engineering (Kindle Special Offer, IMDb TV etc ) and Amazon Video and Studios.Key job responsibilities Automate test cases using established tools by leveraging the automation framework within the team to ensure product & automation quality. Develop scripts and simple tools to reduce manual effort or improve feature quality. Create and execute simple test plans and test cases for straightforward scenarios involving one or more product components and/or features. Participate in defect triage, test planning, scoping, and testing prioritization discussions and provide constructive feedback on tests created by others.     • 1+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or 2+ of equivalent product testing with automation experience
    • Experience in Java/Python based automation
    • Experience in writing test plans & test cases
    • Experience with interacting and coordinating test activities among multiple teams
    • Knowledge of QA methodology, industry-standard and bug tracking tools
    • Strong knowledge of QA automation tools, with demonstrated QA experience on mobile devices (Android or iOS)
    • Knowledge of UNIX/MAC environment and Shell scripting is desired
