Job Description

    Job Description1) Production Order / Delivery Fulfilment: Responsible for leading a team of engineers and workmen to achieve production KPIs, ensure 100% production order fulfilment in accordance with manufacturing plan, daily production planning (scheduling activities) and execution, manpower planning and monthly manpower cost control, capacity & resource planning for production related activities2) Projects: Responsible for execution of OEE improvement projects and IDC reduction projects (identification of improvement area, preparation of action plan, execution with CFT, monitoring and control), System CiP / Point CiP activities, ensure 14-Q maturity & BPS implementation at workplace3) Complaint Support: Responsible for customer complaints related to conventional booster assembly, implementation of corrective & preventive action plan, 8D analysis, containment action, Poka Yoke and OPL closure on time, PDCA analysis, conduct Layered Process Audit (LPA) on daily basis, inventory audit4) Project Reviews: Conduct review meetings to track project progress, daily production review, daily rejection review / analysis, review resource utilization and allocation of resources, ensure accountability of material through system TRTO and back flush5) Production Documents: Responsible for on time preparation of standard operating procedures (SOP), review of production documents such as control plan, work instruction sheet, FMEA, preparation of daily MIS report, ensure updating of CiP board documents, Tool life monitoring and tool management6) Budget Utilization: Responsible for coordinating with suppliers for quotations for identified items, generation of purchase requisition for capital / revenue items & follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of purchased items7) Training & Development: Ensure on job training to newly joined trainees / operators, daily tracking / monitoring of employee attendance, preparation and mapping of skill matrix for efficiency calculation, addressing shop floor grievances8) Audits: Responsible for compliance to customer audits, external & internal audits, process & system audits, CAU / AUD audits, TS, Quality & HSE audits, maintaining relevant documentation for audit, OPL closure on timeResponsible for maintaining 5S, health, safety and quality compliance1) Drive projects through system CIP2) A key user for POE up-gradation and related activities3) Delegating tasks to subordinates / team with clearly defined targets, priorities and deadlines in accordance with customer requirements4) Ensure coordination with CLP, PUR & stores team for timely line feeding for order fulfilment and timely movement of FG from production area to storage areaMaintain healthy & cordial relations with union & negotiate whenever required, conduct routine interaction with union for smooth functioning, motivate employees & maintain their high morale, attend to & resolve grievances of the team,
