Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Should have experience in Windows Server Administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows, Hyper V & VMWare to provide permanent fix
  • Installing, designing, implementing, deploying, upgrading, and administering Windows Server 2012/16/19
  • OS Upgrades
  • Experience in managing team and guide team on troubleshooting issues
  • Should have good experience into AWS Cloud, automation PowerShell scripting
  • AWS cloud components. (EC2, EBS, VPC, Security Groups, Autoscaling, ELB, Cloud trail etc)
  • Experience of implementing, managing and supporting VMware environments
  • Experience of supporting storage environments, ideally experience with Nutanix or other enterprise storage such as EMC, Net App etc
  • Experience of managing backup and recovery tools, such as Veeam and Netbackup
  • Experience of patch management and software deployment tools
  • Experience of managing hardware remotely using such as Dell Openmanage or HPE iLO
  • Monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Datadog, splunk
  • Capable of handling the Severity 1 & 2 Incident and provide RCA
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows, VMWare and Nutanix to provide permanent fix
  • Knowledge in server hardening and policy compliance management
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  • Desired to have automation tools such as Ansible and terraform, using github as repository
  • Document and diagram a multitude architecture and IT processes using MS Word and Visio or similar cloud tools such as confluence, google docs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • 8-10 years experience of Windows Server Administration, Troubleshooting
  • Must have hands on experience supporting clients who have an AWS at least 2-3 years.
  • Good Communication skill to interact with Client and understand their technical requirements
  • Must have experience in working in an ITIL Ticket based Incident management environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree
  • Must possess good time management, problem solving skills and communication skills.
  • Must excel working in team environment
