Job Description

  • Strong background in infrastructure projects and development to deliver high quality of softwares used in banking
  • Candidate would be involved in supporting development & migration projects technology projects like re-engineering, migration or upgradations. Involvement should be from design to implementation as Infrastructure SME
  • Responsible for production stability, Level-3 development analysis and troubleshooting for the production defects and quick resolution
  • Enable high quality software programs adhering to engineering standards
  • Production defects analysis, UAT support, implementation, infrastructure support
  • Coordinate with production support teams, business/OPS and Global partners for delivering the assigned work
, Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
  • Person with 10-14 years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology; Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance is preferred
  • Solid grasp of C/C++, OOP concepts, design patterns, usage of C/C++ compilers on Unix, debugger tools
  • Hands on knowledge on MQ, Connect direct, JavaFAL
  • Able to create technical Design Document of the Project
  • Exposure and proficiency in Web Sphere Application server 8.0
  • Well versed with Tomcat, Maven, IDEs like Eclipse for code development
  • Technology Migration project exposure is a Strong plus
  • Well versed with SDLC life cycle having exposure to various Phases. Agile Experience is preferred
  • Should be able to do independent code review of the application with exposure to static code review tool such as Purify, Jtest, Sonar
  • Understand the software configuration management process of code and well versed with standard CM tool such as clear case/PVCS
Technical/Functional Proficiency:
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in Linux/C-C++/Shell Scripting/DevOps (Good to have)/ MQ/NDM/Dazel
  • Good to have JAVA, J2EE Development experience and
  • Strong database admin skills such as Oracle/MongoDB/ORASS
  • Hands on in programming in J2EE technologies such as JDK 1.6, JSP,DWR, Struts 2.3, Spring Framework, AJAX
  • Should have involved in production defect analysis
  • Good to have JQuery Easy UI, HTML 5.0, AJAX

  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
  • Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement.
