Job Description

About this Opportunity The ITAM Life Cycle Management team within the IT Asset Management department has oversight and governance over all End of Life processes throughout IT. The information managed can reduce both risk and cost to DTCC.The Infrastructure Services Engineer will work with our internal partners to ensure that they maintain the accuracy of Life Cycle Management/End of Life data within the Asset Management Database and Configuration Management Database. In addition, performing analysis on End of Life Data and identifying data gaps as required is a primary responsibility of the area. Business Unit: Information TechnologyThe Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.Department: Governance and AssuranceThe IT Governance and Assurance Department will focus on advancing organizational goals through the effective and efficient use of IT, by ensuring IT has the necessary capabilities and controls to enhance the stability of DTCC products. The department is responsible for maturing core IT business management and governance capabilities.What Youll Do

  • Ensure that DTCC s Software / Hardware LCM information is accurate and can deliver business value for our internal customers.
  • Partner with internal Infrastructure teams to ensure completeness and accurate data is maintained.
  • Coordinate activities required to execute, monitor and report on the hardware and software Life Cycle Management process
  • Respond to requests from Life Cycle Managers and team members and demonstrate ability to successfully troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Requires a broad knowledge of the organization, business functions, and Service Now
  • Look for opportunity to automate standardized processes for improved efficiency.
  • Participate in daily Agile stand-up meetings, update status of assigned activities and identify blocking issues.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Sound Like You
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
  • Candidates should have experience working with large data sets some scripting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
  • Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
