Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greeting of the day!REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Degree/Post graduation in Instrumentation & Control or inElectronic disciplines from recognized college/universityExperience in Detailed Engineering and Procurement support for Oil and Gas Projects.Must have good verbal and written communication skills.Conversant with MS office and Instrumentation sizing software(for control valve sizing, flow meter sizing, pressure relief valve sizing)Must have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil and gasindustryResponsibilities / Competence :The Discipline Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for:Preparation of specifications for field instruments, flow meters, shutdown valves, control Valves, pressure safety valves.Preparation of Instrument datasheets for field Instruments, flow meters, gauges, shutdown valves, control valves, MOV, pressure safety valves.Preparing Material requisitions / Purchase Specifications for field Instruments.Review of Vendor quotations, Prepare technical clarifications and Technical Bid Evaluation reports (TBE) for field instruments, flow meters, shutdown valves, control valves, pressure safety valves,Preparation of various engineering documents like Instrument Index, IO List, Cable Schedules and MTOs.Review of Hook up & Installation drawings, Instrument location layouts, control room layouts and cable tray & routing layouts.Review & comment other discipline design interface documents.Review & Approve of Vendor drawings & documents for field instruments, flow meters, shutdown valves, control valves, pressure safety valves, etc.Conduct pre-engineering site surveys for gathering inputs needed for detailed engineering documents.Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines and with client and with suppliersParticipate /assume leading role in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).RegardsTeam HR
