Job Description

    Careers that Change Lives Main Purpose:
    • To overachieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified regional territory, by promoting Orthopedic Trauma products to hospital / doctors/ specialists and patients.
    • Manage Trauma business for Tamil Nadu and Kerala region.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
    • Understand market sales opportunities and close orders to meet sales targets. Seek opportunities to open new accounts and start new programs.
    • Attend and support Trauma surgeries with key surgeons. Ensure on-time case support for spine surgeries.
    • Manage distributor to drive sales growth and meet AOP. Monitor dealer for highest customer satisfaction in terms of delivery of implants & instruments, follow up for surgeries and market development.
    A Day in the Life
    • Expand the customer base and sales by establishing regular contact with key specialists, technical staff, and administration personnel
    • Ensure the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge
    • Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company s products
    • Develop and initiate product and skills development programs.
    • Gather market intelligence as an audit on hospital usage, competitor products and pricing, also continual updates on general competitive activities
    • Communicate marketing plans / intelligence/competitor activity promptly, including potential sales leads, and information regarding product price or account activity to Regional Sales Manager and other appropriate company personnel
    • Distribution Management Ensure that leads are generated by the distribution team. Plan dealer inventory required for the market and ensure uninterrupted supply of Trauma implants for surgeries in the region. Work with the team to handle any clinical / technical / commercial objections
    • Interact with key decision makers regularly
    • Provide timely information to management regarding customer concerns, issues and market opportunities.
    • Ensure ongoing personal training on all product lines and keep up knowledge of current literature in all fields directly related to product lines.
    Must Have- Minimum Requirements
    • 5-7 years of Experience in Orthopedic Trauma / Orthopedic implants / Surgical implants / Devices Sales
    • Experience in clinical support of surgeries is added advantage
    • Experience of promoting implants and supporting surgeries
    • Experience of Distribution Management
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Computer literacy including knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.
    • Willing to travel extensively
    • Willing to attend and support surgeries
    Nice to haves:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Good verbal communicator and presenter
    • Clinical experience of supporting surgeries
    • Self motivated and positive
    • Is able to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively
    • Ability to quickly establish credibility with all levels of customer base
    • Good time manager
    • Willingness to learn, especially clinical information
