• Nokia IPTV Solutions are based on modern Triple-Play technology, similar to Direct-To-Home (DTH), but superior in delivering Video, Voice & Internet over Fiber Optics (FTTH) in extremely faster way.
• Nokia IPTV Video Solutions includes Live TV channel broadcasts and On-demand video contents, delivered as IP packets in a Digital and Secured way.
• Video delivery is managed through popular and industry leading Service Delivery Platform (SDP) over Access Network using a Digital Set-Top-Box (STB) on different resolutions such as SD, HD & 4K.
• Nokia has been a pioneer in enterprise carrier grade E2E Video Integration Solutions using the above technologies to support its customers business demands.

1. This Video Integration team is a hybrid of Product and Services team, specific to cater the business needs for our Tier1 International Customers with our Nokia Products & Solutions
2. This position is an SME / Technical Specialist Profile for development and delivery of Software and Services based on OSS & BSS integration with IPTV Platform
3. Candidate should be highly proficient in Web standards, Web Services (SOAP & REST), TCP & IP based communications, SQL Database, PL/SQL
4. Design & Develop new features and enhancements as per the Customer needs & demands over the existing deployed Products or a new Product as necessary
5. Designing of UT and Automated tests to verify feature functionality with a simulator or on real integrated environment
6. Maintain all the Products and its features which are deployed in customer networks
7. Understand the real-world Customer deployments and incorporate Customer feedback into developed features.
8. Work closely with different teams in all phases of SDLC for our existing Products and new Products. Different teams include Pre-sales Team, Delivery Team and Support Team to jointly deliver high quality products and solutions
9. This role requires analytical and out-of-box thinking at-times to cater to the specific situational needs of Customer based on any Critical Production Issues/Limitations
10. As Nokia is a product company, E2E responsibility is there and with Agile/Scrum practices, should be flexible to work on DevOps & Testing Role for Functional Testing, SIT & Performance Testing as necessary

Job Responsibilities & Competencies:Responsibilities:

1. Highly flexible and willing to learn the end-to-end platform with the ability to grasp and deploy new concepts and address problem areas quickly.
2. Understand Architecture and High-Level Design and contribute or own the responsibility to do the development and implementation with no deviations and defects
3. Take ownership of design and implementation issues and support tickets and work with architecture team, subject matter experts and backend support to drive it to solutions
4. Should be flexible to work on DevOps & Testing Role for Functional Testing, SIT & Performance Testing as necessary

Primary Skills:

1. Knowledge on Telecom and OSS/BSS Integration standards
2. Strong development experience on .NET Technologies (4.0 & 4.5)
3. Good understanding on Microsoft Windows Servers (2008, 2012, 2014) and IIS Server (7.0, 8.0, 8.5) and its changes
4. Strong and Deep knowledge on WCF & Web Services using SOAP, REST
5. Development of Web UI with ASP.NET & AJAX
6. Hands-on experience and Deep knowledge on SQL Server, Databases, PL-SQL, Schemas, DB Backups, SQL Jobs, Scheduling and SQL Profiling
7. Strong on scripting technologies like Powershell & Batch files preferred
8. Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Hyper-V & VMWare is preferred.
9. Good spoken and written English.
10. Good experience on Troubleshooting & Bug Fixing
11. Hands-on experience on Automation using .NET, NUnit, JUnit, Python

Secondary Skills:

1. Knowledge on IPTV Domain, Mediaroom IPTV Platform
2. Good understanding of High Availability, Network redundancy, Server Load Balancing, Server Clustering, RAID
3. Hands-on experience in configuring Database Servers for Data replication, Data mirroring and Data backups
4. Knowledge in writing Technical Guides & Documentation for New Features, User Manual, Troubleshooting Steps, etc
5. Knowledge on Tools like GitLab, JIRA, Wireshark, SoapUI, JMeter
6. Working Knowledge on Functional, Automation, Regression and Performance Testing

Optional & Nice to Have Skills (big plus):

1. Knowledge on Java/J2EE Technologies with Eclipse
2. Knowledge on Lab Server Maintenance, Test Bed Setup & Networking
3. Working knowledge on Linux, SSH, Andriod SDK, Andriod Apps Development
