Job Description

    Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Scientists from different business streams (Medicinal Chemistry, Discovery Biology, Process Development, Analytical, DMPK and Discovery Synthesis) and working closely with them to ensure all scientific applications up and running Scientific applications like PerkinElmer ELN, Reagent Inventory Tool, BIOVIA Notebook, Study Tracking and Assay Management Tools support Work closely with business to gather business requirements and design and implement new Capability/Improvements on existing Apps. Coordinate and manage functional, user acceptance, validation, and performance testing In collaboration with other IT applications teams, design, develop and support integration between IT team, Vendors and Scientists. Responsible for building reporting and dashboards for critical Apps. Provide training and mentoring to help Users to engage Scientific Apps.
    • Provide assistance with How-to questions.

    • Lead development of small-scale business solutions with little or no supervision
    • Active participation in team meetings and activities. Work cooperatively and respect others

    Educational Qualifications: BS or higher in Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, other engineering or scientific disciplines Masters of 10+ years of experience or Bachelors with 12+ years of experience Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)
    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D IT systems (ELN, Compound registration and management tools, assay informatics tools, Reagent Management tools)
    • Ability to share learnings and train others
    • Exposure to scientific laboratory environments
    • Business analysis skills
    • Experience with Systems lifecycle management methodologies including troubleshooting and support
    • Good IT technical knowledge proficiency, fundamental scientific knowledge
    Experience:
    • Bachelors with 12+ years of experience
    • Masters with 10+ years of experience
