Job Description

Technologist / Sr Architect is the single point of responsibility for the technical solution from an application and system perspective. Architect is more of a role than a job. First of foremost, he/she should be a rockstar engineer with true respect for the discipline. It requires go-getter qualities and above all, get-things-done mentality.

  • Integrated & implemented. Should be able to take calculated risks in trying out new technical implementation avenues
  • Take full ownership of legacy architectures and quickly reverse-engineer and whip it into shape with hands-on analysis, design and willingness to code, restructure, refactor and document.
  • Very strong and hands-on core Java and J2EE experience, especially in an open source, data intensive, distributed environments. Experience, knowledge and interest to build novel web-scale .
  • Systems using disruptive technologies especially with mobile devices in clients mix.
  • Good understanding of algorithms, time-space complexity in operations, data
  • structures, and solid awareness of the prevalent design paradigms such as Model Driven Architecture,
  • Pattern Oriented Software Architecture, Shared Nothing Architecture et al. Define the development tools and environment to build durable architectures with an anticipation of technology evolutions.
  • Establish overall architectural view, identify major system interfaces, design and develop and design enterprise/industry-wide reusable softwares and modules.
  • Identify existing architecture weaknesses and find opportunities for process re-engineering by perform formal cost-benefit analysis. Able to architect for any problem and should have excellent.
  • Be a single point of contact for team(s) involved in for all architecture related matters.
  • Support pre-sales with POC creations, conceptualize new technical implementations.
  • Participate in visualization of technical road map for the organization.
Technology Visibility :
  • Very strong and hands-on core Java and J2EE experience, especially in an open source, data intensive, distributed environments.
  • Good understanding of algorithms, time-space complexity in operations, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of database principles, SQL, and experience working with large databases beyond just data access.
  • Experience, knowledge and interest to build novel web-scale systems using disruptive technologies especially with mobile devices in clients mix
  • Solid awareness of the prevalent design paradigms such as Model Driven Architecture, Pattern.
  • Oriented Software Architecture, Shared Nothing Architecture etal. Define the development tools and environment to build durable architectures with an anticipation of technology evolutions contributions. Active blogger with influence.
  • Published white-papers and presented in seminars or conferences
  • Member of local / national / global technical groups and associations.
  • Establish overall architectural view, identify major system interfaces, design and develop and design enterprise/industry-wide.
