Job Description

JIRA - GISOCC Shared Services - ( 19000DGE ) Job Title: Engineer Job Code: Entity : H22 Department: GISOCC Hierarchical Manager(s) Title(s) Centralized JIRA - Lead Engineer Functional Manager(s) Title(s) Mission As a Jira Administrator, you will be responsible for the complete administration and maintenance of the Jira Tool. Responsibilities

  • Working Knowledge with JIRA 7,
  • Working experience in Agile/Scaled Agile Environment
  • Excellent understanding of JIRA workflows, permissions schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, etc.
  • Expertise in programming with Core Java and Plugin development
  • Programming experience in REST API s and GIT
  • Programming experience in Java Script or python or Groovy is a must
  • Knowhow on JIRA Add-ons like ScriptRunner, Elements Connect, Behaviour
  • Working experience with JIRA Service desk, Jira Software
  • Migrating Jira Projects from one instance to another.

  • Must be a Team Player and ability to drive the topics
  • Should be flexible enough to switch job responsibilities with changing project needs
  • Ability to influence and build relationships quickly to establish rapport

  • Solid technical expertise in Groovy Scripting
  • Experience on Integrations
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Solid coding practices including coding standards, unit testing and a preference for agile methods.
  • Strong commitment and desire to learn and grow.
  • Should have a deep understanding of the requirements and be simultaneously able to dive deep into details
  • Pro-active and able to work effectively within a multi-functional and cross-cultural team across organization.

  • Willing to work in Shift 18x5
    • Education/Training Academics with minimum 60% from SSLC till Graduation.
  • BE, B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, MCA
    • Preferred Certifications: Good to have
  • Java Certification
  • PMP, ITIL, AGILE
    • Professional Experience
  • 1yrs-4yrs Relevant experience on Jira Administration and Scripting Knowledge.
    • Key Competences (Transversal/Professional) Competence Level Business processes understanding Knowledged Change Management Knowledged Scripting Autonomous Addons and Jira Migrations Skilled Languages Excellent communication and Fluent in English (Oral and written) - Mandatory French Language will be an added advantage ,
