Job Description

    Role purpose: This position is for a chemical engineer with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/production and Scale-up of operations. He/She will be responsible for the execution of the outsourced and in-house projects in the plant and work with the manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities:
    • Drive scaleup projects in the third-party facility across India in discussion with project leaders
    • Responsible for third-party facility evaluation given the process requirement
    • Prepare assessment reports to support scale-up activities
    • Perform engineering calculations for scale-up, equipment capacity, compatibility, utility requirements
    • Support, monitoring and analysis of process performance and product quality data on a periodic basis
    • Provide technical support to scale-up campaigns in kilo, pilot, and commercial manufacturing
    • Commitment to ensuring quick solution delivery for the ongoing projects through in-depth chemical engineering approaches
    • Attending client TC and supporting client queries on a timely basis as per the requirement
    • Equipment selection & facility proposal for batches.
    • Analyze process safety data generated to support scale up batches.
    Education and Experience:
    • B.Tech//M.Tech/M.S Chemical engineering
    • 6 to 10 years of experience in process simulation and model building across chemical unit operations and processes
    • Strong orientation towards technical competencies and exposure towards pharmaceutical manufacturing
    Technical/Functional Skills
    • Proficient in Dynochem, Visimix, DoE (minitab/Design expert) and other simulation software s etc
    • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and adopt to new complex technical challenges
    • Exposure towards global projects/clients working with cross functional teams across geographical location
    • Applying chemical engineering principles and Support for Product trouble shooting at outsource facility if any
    • Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, equipment mapping with respective to process requirement
    • Conversant with best industry practices of scaling up of batch processes and unit operations
    • Candidate should be highly self-motivated, team player and result oriented
