Job Description

*Job role:

  • Material cost planning for product (premises, calculation, product cost, AVoB, efficiencies, variance, etc.)
  • The profile requires skills in SAP-CO and finance (controlling) domain.
  • Person should have good understanding of SAP-CO with a focus on product costing, cost objects and relevant areas for material cost and inventory.
  • Plan and monitor Material cost targets; Provide inputs to management for deciding alternate measure if target is not met
  • Provide transparency on key drivers ( transition charts)
  • Costing for New production/sales variants in SAP for supporting billing activities
  • Reporting:
    • Monthly Material cost transitions. Reporting and analysis of material cost
    • EbIT vs CoMeT reconciliation.
    • Fx exposure for Production material to Treasury team.
    • Reporting of periodic material cost parameters for management
  • Analyze deviation in consumption patterns across products
  • Handle month closing activities and reconcile Financial and product reports. To closely work with accounting team to ensure proper month end closing process.
  • Developing presentations to analysis specific insights related to material cost
  • Understanding of finance processes and integration with respective departments (Eg with Logistics, R&D etc)
  • Good communication and have mindset to work in collaborative mode.

  • Experience in Automotive Industry and the integration to Finance for them.
  • Strong analytical and MS office and working knowledge in SAP (FI CO) required. Ability to work cross-functionally required,
  • CA/ICWA/MBA preferred.
