Job DescriptionAnalytics Practice within SCIO:Drives business metrics that add to the top- line and / or profitability for SCIO s revenue optimization businessDevelops Descriptive (reporting) through to Prescriptive AnalyticsApplies next- gen technology to all parts of the analytics lifecycle from data extraction to visualization & analysisThis role would suit candidates with the following attributes:Ability to operate with a structured approachIdentify issues and come up with solutionsDeal with shifting priorities and what can be tight timeframesAbility to work with incomplete information and take judgment- driven decisions based on experienceResponsible for all programs and all line of businesses within RO AnalyticsPerform quantitative and qualitative analysis like (raw) data analysis, statistical modeling, data deep- dives etc. to acquire insights from dataBuild analytical models which are predictive or have forward- looking measures to develop foresights or alerts around business metricsTranslates insights into an analysis reports and communicate insights back to the stakeholdersDevelop PoCs (Proof of Concepts) working with stakeholders and mapping their business pain points and problems to Analytics needs, and leveraging relevant tools and frameworksSpecial Skills and Qualifications:Flexibility to work with different countries (time- zones), groups, and business environmentSelf- motivated and takes ownershipShould have good organizational and people skillsShould have good communication able to collaborate with onshore stakeholdersGood team player & collaborative in approachStrong aptitude to learn/ understand health care data / databasesNice to have - Experience with different database systems such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.At least 4- 5 years experience in building data models using SAS, R, or Python, basic statistical concepts and analyzing data & interpreting results to the businessKnowledge or experience in machine learning, text mining, imaging mining, screen scraping and other big data techniques will be preferredBASE/ Advanced SAS certification nice to have,
