Lead Consultant Data scientist

Job Description

• Work with multiple IT teams & business units to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from various sources (including ServiceNow) to drive optimization, automation & bring business value by creating valuable business strategies
• Able to identify problems and suggest improvements, or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing from past experiences and feedback.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, cost optimization, simplification, and other business outcomes.
• Strong into Business Analysis planning and monitoring, Enterprise Analysis, Requirement management, and communication.
• Optimize models using machine learning techniques including feature selection & engineering, boosting, deep learning and ensembles
• Understands Enterprise business needs and applies AI/Machine Learning technology to solve real-world problems that benefit horizontal goals & objectives
• Build rich multi-dimensional reports and data visualizations to present findings and support team with reporting and data requests as needed
• Rapidly prototyping proof-of-concept idea, conceptualize, deploy data science solutions for business questions. Expert into Agile Scrum principals, Task meeting/Retrospective
• Provide objective guidance without personal or political considerations
• Quantitative Analysis of Data Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
• Understanding about how the business performs, and to build AI tools that automate certain processes within teams
• Build work culture aiming to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise such as data engineers, data scientists, application developers, platform, tools specialists and several other key leadership roles

Education, Qualifications, and ExperienceEssential

• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python, MatLab, etc. Manipulate data sets and create visualizations to communicate results in R Programming.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
• Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, etc
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in data analytics solution domain
• Certified specialist in predictive analytics (CSPA)

Desirable

• knowledge of at least one data visualization tool like QlikView/License
• Good knowledge of RDBMS and knowledge of at least one NoSQL database.
• Experience in manufacturing/Pharma domain will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in distributed computing, big data analysis, and database.
• Producing reports and executive level presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders

• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
