Product Management has a global reach into our sales regions, including responsibility for technical sales and bid management, Wind & Site Engineering, and Balance of Plant and SCADA Engineering. Power System Consulting team is based in Chennai. This team is one of the functions in product management. Our role is to support the global Technical Sales Management organization for Wind and hybrid power plant grid interconnection studies and grid code compliance.Responsibilities

• Simulation and modelling of the wind or hybrid Power Plant including WTG, PV and storage
• Studying grid interconnection requirement and grid codes
• Evaluating site specific grid interconnection solutions
• Design or review the design for the BoP (balance of plant) for wind power plant
• Supervise a group of engineers on one of the technical specialized area like harmonic, weak grid connection assessment, etc.
• Development of the tools, methods and process related to the power system analysis studies.
• Presentations and meeting with Grid operators/customers for project specific needs

Qualifications

• You hold a B.E./B.Tech, Masters in power system or PhD with application to the power systems
• Minimum Industry experience of 6 years. Out of which 3 years in renewable grid interconnection
• You possess good communication skills
• You speak and write English fluently

Competencies

• Knowledge of simulation tools like PSS/E Power Factory, PSCAD, or equivalent
• Experience of working for substation design and power system analysis
• Solid electrical engineering background in relation to the substation engineering, Load flows, short circuit, etc.
• You are innovative, innovative and result oriented attitude
• Good at using MS-OFFICE products (WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT etc)
