Position Details Position Lead Engineer - Farm Machinery Digitisation Reports To Head Farm Machinery Digitisation Place of Posting MRV, Chennai Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Define the Electronics architecture for farm equipment and machinary Implementation of eletronics on the tractors Supplier selection and evaluation Managing stakeholders both internal and external Be a part of the delivery of the Electronics solutions Exploring new oppurtunites/avenues for bringing improvements using electronics in the farm domain Job Requirements Experience (years) 8 - 13 yrs Industry Preferred Automotive OEMs, Tractor OEMs, Tier 1 Suppliers, Tier 2 providing automotive engineer services Qualification M.Tech / B.Tech Personality Traits Competencies Self starter, Independent, Hands On. Ability to work with minimal resources Delivery focussed, able to adhere to processes & deadlines. Pro-active, resourceful & willing to find solutions with least guidance. General Requirements Knowledge of general Vehicle Networking , Tractor systems and farming Practices Experience with ECU development projects preferred Should have handled one project PDLC. Comfortable working with a cross-cultural team with extensive use of electronic communication tools Fluency in spoken and written English Willing to travel Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job Experience in the Tractor Electronics developement Stakeholder management - Technical & Non - technical Experience with - HW / SW design for 16 & 32 bit Processors, Low level firmware, Boot loaders, Device Drivers development, Experience Communication Protocols CAN- J1939, KWP, ISO Bus. Proven testing & debugging skills as a System ,- HW Validation & SW Validation System Requirement Capturing experience on Diagnostics Tools ( Actia) & Protocols Embedded System & SW Architecture Supplier management on the delivery Project Management practises - Scheduling, Montioring and execution
