Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1.Wheels & tyres design calulations. 2.Design calculations for steel and alloy wheel rim durbaility & impact testing. 3.In depth knowledge about tyre design and its impact on vehicle performance. 4.Awareness about global regulatory requirements for rim & tyres. 5.Ability to understand the tyre construction matrix. 6.Fasteners calculations. 7.Benchmarking and system target cascading 8.DVP and DFMEA review with CFT team and optimise the design accordingly. 9.Co-ordination with CAE groups for design optimization and co-relation process. 10.Finalise technical specifications for generating SOR for wheel rim & tyre. 11.Technical & Manufacturing feasibility closure with supplier 12.Interfacing with material management team for development of parts 13.Ability to handle multiple project simultaniously. 14.Development & Field concern root cause analysis and resolution. 15.Working for cost & weight reduction programs 16.Keep track of latest technology in domain area and technology development to align future requirement. 17.Sound Knowledge about forging, stamping,casting & welding. 18.Ability to generate different design proposals for design optimisation.
