Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Design and development of automobile electrical & electronics systems like Driver control, ECU`s, Sensor, Alternator, Starter, Battery, Audio components.
• To be expert in scoping E&E System requirements, deriving the E&E architecture of vehicle & for individual components.
• Understand the vehicle E&E Architecture, security, safety & other vehicle body functions &
• Perform the vehicle level analysis, diagnostics, testing, consolidate the observation and report accordingly with appropriate actions
• Work with Body control modules, Instrument clusters, infotainment, ECUs etc both Hardware (circuit level) and software levels for understanding and execution.
• Participate in the various project level reviews.
• Effectively collaborate the various CFTs and deliver the product to the necessary vehicle platforms
• To be expert in preparing meticulous planning of QCT target & adhering to the plan
• Bringing New technology which is compatible with Precision farming system
• Expertise on CRDi system with Trem IV, Euro 6, Tier IV final Emission.
• Finalization of functional, technical and quality requirements based on project & customer inputs.
• Releasing Statement of Requirements (SOR) & Design Concept Specification (DCS) for the electrical & electronics components by covering all the functional, durability and tooling requirements.
• Interact & initiate with internal and external teams to finalize the requirements, strategy, logics.
• Knowledge on various countries homologation requirements.
• Conducting DFMEA by considering various functional & structural failures modes RWUP and arriving vehicle level component level DVP, execution & completion of the plans within targeted time.
• Preparation of various test cases to meet the respective component functions and participating in the tests.
• Benchmarking of the trends in tractor, converting marketing and customer requirements into technical & functional requirements.
• Analysis of R/100 & taking corrective action in design release
• Providing & executing VAVE proposal without quality & functional compromise.
• Basic Knowledge on EMI/ EMC regulation like ISO, CISPR, JASIC etc.,
• Implementing Design to cost, quality during product development and ensure first time right
• Basic Understanding on TGR/ TGW, New product development process, Gate ways of NPD process
• Use of problem solving tools to find the root cause
• Conducting internal and external supplier audits

QualificationsBE/B Tech / ME in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Communication EngineeringGeneral Requirements

• Knowledge & Awareness of QFD
• Systematic Project Management approach
• Knowledge & Awareness of Zero Based costing
• Knowledge and Awareness of APQP, 7QC tools, DFMEA, DVP, VPPAP, 8D, Control plan
• Knowledge and Awareness of various testing agency like ARAI & VCI
• Interfacing with all inter dept teams from start to end of project to ensure First Time Right.
• Awareness of vehicle E&E technology and fundamental knowledge of application engineering.
• Always drive the development with firm planning and mitigation options.

To be ready to work at various location of manufacturing and design centres in India and outside India

• Functional knowledge on Starting system, charging system, switches, Wiring harness, Lighting system, vehicle E&E Interfacing system.
• Knowledge on various automotive communication protocols like CAN, K-line, UDS, INCA, CANoe
• Knowledge on analog and digital signal and its interface requirements
• Should have experience one complete product development cycle on automotive/ Off road system development
• Expertise & Experience on wiring Harness design & Circuitry
• Hands on experience in right hardware & software handling skills in line with upcoming electrical and electronics technology on automotive technology
• Knowledge of Functional safety, EMI/EMC,8D, SCAP
• Should have valid 4-wheeler driving license.
• Knowledge on various ECU assessments viz, Temperature Measurement, Wiring Harness Measurement, Vibration assessment etc will be added advantage
• Language skills - Hindi additional advantage
