Job Description

  • Prepare real time Vehicle dynamics model (CARSIM or CARMAKER) suitable for HiL environment (dSPACE or ETAS)
  • Validate the RT vehicle dynamics model with the vehicle results
  • Perform ESP/ABS, EPS, SRS ECU s open and closed loop integration on HiL environment (dSPACE / ETAS)
  • Design, Test & Integrate the ECU side, Load side and FIU side wiring harnesses with the test systems
  • Collect the sub systems model from respective Model Development Engineers and integrate with the overall Vehicle Model as applicable
  • Release the Test system after SME reviews & Test Engineer review comments closure.
  • Modify the Test system with requested changes to accommodate new testing requirements and to re-release the Test system after the relevant reviews by SME & Test Engineers.
  • Manage the artifacts across the Vehicle platforms & variants.

  • Must have strong domain knowledge (Vehicle dynamics)
  • Must have good experience with MATLAB Simulink platform based model development
  • Must have adequate expertise with third party physical model simulation tools (such as GT Suite, AVL Cruise, AVL Boost, CARSIM, CARMAKER, Simulation-X and so on) and integration into Simulink environment
  • Experience with dSPACE, ETAS, NI or equivalent HiL simulation tools will be an added advantage
  • Good hands on knowledge on MS OFFICE toolset
  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of SVN or equivalent version management tools is preferred
