Position Details Position Lead Engineer - Farm Machinery Digitisation Reports To Head Farm Machinery Digitisation Place of Posting MRV, Chennai Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Define communication & Diagnostics requirements for Farm equipment & machinary Implementation of electronics on the tractors Supplier management for requirement delivery. Define communication network security, EOL /Service tool requirements for Off-road tractor application. Technical interaction with stakeholders both internal and external Be a part of the delivery of the Electronics solutions Exploring new oppurtunites/avenues for bringing improvements using electronics in the farm domain Job Requirements Experience (years) 8 - 10 yrs Industry Preferred Automotive OEMs, Tractor OEMs, Tier 1 Suppliers, Tier 2 providing automotive engineer services Qualification M.Tech / B.Tech Personality Traits Competencies Self starter, Independent, Hands On. Ability to work with minimal resources Delivery focussed, able to adhere to processes & deadlines. Pro-active, resourceful & willing to find solutions with least guidance. General Requirements Knowledge of general automotive engineering, Vehicle Networking Experience with ECU development projects preferred Experience in software development life cyle Should have handled one project PDLC. Comfortable working with a cross-cultural team with extensive use of electronic communication tools Fluency in spoken and written English Willing to travel Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job Knowledge on Communication ISO Standards (ISO 11898, ISO 11783 & SAE J1939) & Diagnostics ISO Standards ( ISO 15765, ISO 14229, ISO 14230) Hands on Experience on creating CAN & LIN database. Strong testing & debugging skills Black Box & White Box, Requirement Capturing Hands on experience on using CAN & LIN tools (Vector/IntrepidCS) & develop CAPL Scripts for testing Hands on experience on Diagnostics Tools ( Actia) & Protocols Knowledge on Embedded System & SW Architecture Knowledge on C Language, C++, Real Time operating Systems Ability to work with minimal resources Desirable Competencies Experience with electronics in tractors and off-road vehicles Hands on experience on Visual Basic (VB) Names of Companies from where we can get this talent .
