Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1. Achieving set NVH targets for vehicle level Powertrain NVH (Idle, WOT/Gear runup),Road NVH - Structure Borne noise & vibrations , by suggesting changes in discussion with design team on multiple projects, simultaneously. 2. Achieving set NVH targets for Trimmed body level Noise & Vibration Transfer Functions, BIW/Frame - global stiffness & attachment bracket local stiffness, by suggesting changes in discussion with design team on multiple projects, simultaneously. 3. Expertise in required diagnostics like Transfer Path analysis, Operational deflection shapes, Panel contribution analysis, modal analysis 4. Building the Full Vehicle FE Models for trimmed body, suspension, driveline systems as per set process and quality. 5. Preparing Report, presentation and work Plan and communicating to concern from time to time. 6. Executing technology development projects by learning latest techniques and implementing it. 7. Learning and mastering latest toolsNot limited to but knowledge in the following is required.1)Build the Full vehicle FE models, debugging the models and analyze the different loadcases. 2)System level global & local stiffness loadcases 3)Trimmed body level NTF & VTF 4)Vehicle level modal map 5)structure borne cabin noise & vibrations in idle & WOT conditions 6)structure borne cabin noise & vibrations for different road surfaces 7)Optimization - Optistruct & Mode Frontier 8)Customize/automation in simulation tools to reduce the DVPs execution time 9)Modal Analysis, TPA, ODS, PCA & Vibro-Acoustics Analysis 10)Correlation of simulation loadcases. Experience 9 to 12 years of experience.Must have experience in simulations softwares like, MSC/NASTRAN : (SOL 103, SOL 111, SOL 108) ALTAIR: (Hypermesh, Hyperview, Hypergraph, Hyperstudy, Optistruct) , NVDirector Mode Frontier FEGate Industry Preferred Automotive Qualifications Masters degree in Automobile or Mechanical.Bachelors Degree in Automobile or Mechanical is also desirable.
