Job Description

  • Responsible for all HVAC testing (System Bench & Vehicle level) related to new system development, Quality improvement, IMCR, Advanced technologies in various projects & COE specific activities
  • Responsible for Installation of new test facilities and commissioning of the same for seamless testing activities.
  • Responsible for calibration of all testing instruments & instruments like thermocouples, anemometers, etc. at regular intervals
  • Responsible for maintenance of all the test facilities and rigs with frequent servicing, etc.
  • Responsible for generating & maintaining all lab documents like test reports, service records, etc.
  • Responsible for lab related finacials like bugeting, generation of purchase requests and negotiation with suppliers
  • Planning the deliverables as per project timeline
  • To diagnose critical issues in vehicle and to support for concern resolution - in plant as well as in field
  • Participate & contribute to senior management review
  • An excellent team player with flexible nature

  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and HVAC interface systems
  • Knowledge about Test rigs and its installation capability
  • Hands on experience on automotive HVAC system testing - system level & vehicle level
  • Knowledge on domestic & international testing standards
  • Knowledge on best testing practices followed in global OEMs / Tier 1
  • Reviewing knowledge of HVAC system testing on Bench (Calorimeter) and Vehicle level.
  • Should able to analyze the vehicle / system test results & to discuss with peers / superiors
  • Awareness about the working principle of various measurement instruments & their International Calibration standards
  • Able to conduct technical review with suppliers for freezing technical specs and commercials
