Position Summary:Works independently, or as part of the Transaction and Messaging Technologies (TMT) team, to provide expert support of DTCC s transaction and messaging infrastructure, and TMT developed and supported middleware, on both on mainframe and distributed platforms. Also performs a variety of systems programming and administration functions for DTCC s transactional and messaging technologies, as detailed below. Lead Infrastructure Services Engineer Principal Responsibilities:Provide expert-level administration and problem resolution for all components of (Mainframe and Distributed Linux), Intercope Box, AWS cloud services such as Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Lambda and Avada IR360Lead Installations, configurations and maintain various middleware software products, on premises and in the cloud, including IBM MQ Server (Mainframe and Distributed Linux), Intercope Box, AWS cloud services such as Kinesis, SQS, SNS, Lambda and Avada IR360Understand and support ongoing customer engineering requests from software engineering teamsExpertise in configuring and debugging channel connections to client sitesEnsure stability of the above-mentioned products in support of many critical business applicationsPerform Software installation and upgrades for IBM MQ Server (Mainframe and Distributed Linux), Intercope Box and Avada IR360Perform any and all administrative functions (including setup, deployment, configuration, administration and troubleshooting) related to IBM MQ, Intercope BOX, IR 360 and the above-mentioned AWS Services productsOrganizing, presenting, and communicating benefits, problems, issues, or ideas to Team Leads and other members of the groupCreate middleware related documentation and diagramsSupport Life Cycle ManagementAbility to lead and deliver multiple concurrent agile projects/tasks on time and a focus on qualityParticipate in weekend DR testsBe willing to follow a rigorous ITIL-based process Knowledge and Skills Required:Knowledge of MQ API s as utilized by high-level programming languages (C, C++, JAVA, JMS, COBOL, etc.).Knowledge of industry monitoring and performance tools (MAINVIEW, IR360, TMON, etc.) for WebSphere MQA thorough understanding of TCP/IP protocolsKnowledge of digital certificate nomenclature (e.g. SSL encryption) and administrationProgramming skills in Assmbler, Rexx and CobolAutomation SkillsCloud (AWS) experience is a big plusE xperience with Avada IR360 AdministrationExperience with shell scripting for automationUnderstanding of the cloud technologies/services and DevOps Agile methodologiesKnowledge of Linux, zLinux, z/OS UNIX System Services and z/OS MVS environments a plusLead MQ Administrator Initiatives (Projects/Tasks)Excellent analytical and technical skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written skillsEducation, Training &/or Certification:Bachelors degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience.5+ years in an z/OS MQ Administrator Role5+ years in an Distributed Linux MQ Administrator Role,
