Job Description

Job TitleLead Engineer_Business Intelligence - Support (Grade 5)We are looking for an outstanding Technical Lead engineer with strong experience in administering and supporting BI platforms and also has experience working in data visualization tools.The Purpose of This RoleWe are looking for a Lead Software Engineer who is experienced in Business Intelligence tools, is aware of the various modules in BI tools and willing to work on the support. In addition work with Business Analysts on enhancements and translate the requirements technically and provide highly stable solution. You will be working with team of developers, and engineering project managers who take pride in providing solutions. You ll be involved in all phases and layers of the application and have a direct impact on the customer experience.The Value You DeliverWe work in an agile software development environment and are building applications to move towards continuous delivery where the changes are done with high coding standards and is properly tested. We are looking to support the business by maintaining a highly stable reporting environment for end users. We ensure highest product quality and end user satisfaction by providing a stable environment for reporting.The Skills that are Key to this roleTechnical / Behavioral

  • Good understanding about SDLC, various stages in software lifecycle
  • Experience working with Data Warehousing and dimensional data modelling
  • 6+ years of experience working in Business Intelligence tools.
  • Good Expertise in working to create repository and reports using OBIEE.
  • Good Knowledge in OBIEE Migration process for repository and catalog.
  • Should be able to manage multiple BI environments and communicate to stakeholders incase of any outages or upgrades
  • Strong analytical skills and be able to troubleshoot any issues within the BI platform.
  • Should be comfortable in writing complex SQL queries and perform analysis for any data issues
  • Basic Knowledge of Tableau and troubleshoot any issues in Tableau.
  • Experience in working with Power BI in Direct Query mode and in DAX functions
  • Working knowledge of Relational Database Management System with Oracle, Netezza
  • Strong analytical, technical skills to be able to address complex issues.
  • Experience in working in an Agile software development environment
  • Implementing best practice acquired through prior experience for any process improvement
  • Must maintain seamless communication and coordination with Partners, Business Analysts, developers and peers for completion of various testing deliverables
  • High level of commitment, initiative, vision and enthusiasm
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
  • Experience in other reporting tools like DOMO is an advantage
  • Knowledge on Cloud and Big Data Concepts and tools AWS, Data Lake, Snowflake etc.
