Job Description

Job Title: Leader - Finance Shared Services (GL and Compliance)Reports To: Manager - Finance Shared Services.Job Location: SIPCOT, Irungatukottai, Sriperambadur, Chennai.Job Summary:

  • Ensure monthly closing of books accurately and in time
  • Be the Finance Lead for the GSA India LO / BO
  • Responsible for preparation of GL reconciliation in time
  • Oversee maintenance of Fixed Assets in SAP correctly and in time
  • Ensure timely Inter Company reconciliations
  • Support information for weekly submissions of cashflow
  • Ensure filing of statutory (Tax / other compliance) returns in time
  • Act as Lead for completion of Statutory, Internal, Tax and Transfer Pricing audits in time
  • Ensure completion of Direct and Indirect tax assessment in time
  • Prepare and submit Quarterly Balance Sheet Analytics
  • Be the Lead contact and coordinator for global automation projects being rolled out in India.
  • To complete statutory audit in time
  • To complete of internal audit and SOX testing on time
  • To complete Transfer Pricing audit in time
  • To ensure in timely response to queries from Tax authorities
  • To complete Direct and Indirect tax assessments in time.
  • To be the Finance lead for the NRGSA India LO / BO
  • To ensure the smooth transition from LO to BO
  • Ensure all statutory compliances / book maintenance of LO / BO.
  • Responsible for Capex accounting and all assets are maintained correctly.
  • Responsible for yearly IGAAP vs UGAAP reconciliation.
  • To ensure physical verification of Fixed Assets as per Company Policy.
Qualification:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant.
  • 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in SAP specifically in GL & FA Modules, intermediate skills in MS office- Excel and Power Point.
  • Specific work experience in handling different compliance requirements.
  • Strong focus on Internal Controls (SOX and ICFR).
  • High level of resilience and ability to work under pressure.
