Job Role:Providing opinion to the Credit Underwriting Team / Management on the mortgageability of the land / property in question and the nature of mortgage to be created to secure the proposed lendingExperience of drafting of loan agreements, Escrow agreements, mortgage, security creation documents etc.Proficiency in scrutinizing, inspecting and guiding in all commercial legal matters and documentsDrafting, Vetting of the documents as per the Business Needs/Terms and conditionProvide support on Alliance Business related Negotiations, Strategy, Term Sheets, Contractual agreements, Policy drafts and due diligenceEnsure compliance of the group to all Regulatory, Internal and Contractual requirementsIdentify & mitigate potential Legal, Compliance or Business RisksMonitor controls & related documentations and provide oversight & governance for Risk Management proceduresAny other tasks assigned by the bankJob Requirements:Exposure to reviewing Term Sheets, Business Agreements, Due Diligence research and Regulatory Compliance, customizing loan and security documents both under multiple banking and consortium lending, knowledge about security trustee arrangements, Escrow agreements etc.,Strong understanding of Business/Market Risk & ComplianceAbility to review Legal / Compliance documents and assess in qualitative/quantitative terms the business impact or risk mitigation needsAdvanced skills on MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Strong in information synthesis and analysisCo-ordination skills and ability to work in a team environment are essentialProven ability to work under stress and meeting TATTo be well versed with Law of Contracts, Property Laws, Land Laws, Commercial LawsTotal work experience 2 years & aboveExperience:3 to 8 yearsAnnual CTC:Rupees 4,00,000 to 8,00,000Locations:Chennai, Mumbai, Ernakulam, Coimbatore
