Job Description

    *Core Documentation:
    • Under general supervision, responsible of creating technical contents (Repair Manual ,Operators Service booklet, Shop Manual & body building guidelines) with high quality standards paying attention to details and execute the project within the estimated man-days
    • Develop the literature for repair & maintenance contents as per documentation standards, make necessary illustration and perform first level QC
    • Should have hands-on experience in service engineering & assisting SMEs in performing repair engineering
    • In-depth understanding of cleaning, inspection, repair procedures of Automotive products
    • Technical validation of inputs received (spec book. PMS sheets & vehicle photographs) , doing comparison study among different specs / models & highlighting changes to Team leads
    • Support Team leads in ensuring if the contents created are in the standard format with appropriate input from stake holders and hosting the contents in aftersales publication system
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams for availability of inputs & periodic supplier meeting for all the project deliverables within the targeted timeline
    • Constantly study, understand & widen skillsets by attending technical trainings from respective trainers & leads
    • Analyze the change request / engineering change management and implement in all the affected modules
    • Ensure quality and upkeep of contents along with change history for all new vehicle variants
    • Strong knowledge on commercial vehicles, automobiles, major aggregates & assembly components of the vehicles.

    1. BE / B.Tech / Diploma (M echanical / Automobiles / ECE)
    2. Proficient in Japanese language; N2 Level certification (Japanese Author)
    3. Strong knowledge on the commercial vehicles or automobiles.
    4. Sound knowledge on technical publications & related tools
    5. Sound knowledge on the customer service or aftersales end-to-end process.
    6. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts & make them understandable in texts & pictures.
    7. Ability to quickly work with engineers & other technical personnel to clarify doubts on documents
    8. Should possess good analytical skills and problem solving skills.
    9. Microsoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentation
