Job Description

  1. Assist the Director Finance in the annual budgeting process (AOP) to plan for financial success and help the management review the same periodically
  2. Ensure implementation an effective MIS which help drive the business measures, especially financial ones.
  3. Assist the Director Finance in P&L and Balance sheet preparation to meet statutory standards and achieve effective closures. Submission to board and publishing as per standards.
  4. Assist with the implementation of appropriate internal financial controls to support financial statement assertions
  5. As a member of the senior managers team or the operational management team, assist in effective review of business by providing appropriate financial data
  6. Costing: establish standards and advice functions on costing. Assist management to implement performance measures pertaining to expenses and help achieve in various areas. ( budget vs actual variance)
  7. Handle and negotiate with outside agencies like Banks, statutory bodies and auditors (up to certain level)
  8. Be a member of the factory management team and play the appropriate supporting role to achieve organisation plans.
