Job Description

What you need to have: PAYROLL PROCESS
  • Maintain payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation of pay checks, and entering of data
  • Utilise payroll software and process payroll for all employees globally.
  • Work with the HR teams and ensure seamless process of payroll.
  • Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
  • Pay employees by directing the production and issuance of pay checks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, etc.
  • Prepare payroll tracker model
  • Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee deductions.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Communicate with employees and solve employee queries, if any.
  • Account salary costs and employee related expenses in the books of account.
  • Prepare and maintain function-wise and GEO wise salary costs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports.
  • Verify payroll with employee CTC letters and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the bankers for payroll process.
  • Verify salary increment files.
  • Verify tax declarations and investment proofs.
  • Responsible for providing tax forms to employees globally.
  • Process employee salary advance.

II EMPLOYEE EXPENSE CLAIMS

  • Process, track and account employee travel claims to all employees globally.
  • Verify all expenses reports with the travel policy.
  • Approve travel advance for domestic and international travel.
  • Account employee travel costs in the books of account.
  • Solve queries to employees on travel expenses.
  • Prepare and maintain function-wise and GEO wise employee expenses reports.

III CONSULTANTS

  • Track consultants contracts and pay consultants as per the agreement.
  • Collaborate with overseas consultants for processing pay-outs to international employees in certain locations.
  • Ensure compliances like taxations for such pay-outs to consultants.

IV SALES COMMISSION AND VARIABLE PAY-OUTS

  • Collaborate with HR, Sales leaders and prepare and verify sales commission for Sales team as per the sales variable compensation.
  • Collaborate with HR and verify variable pay compensation
  • Responsible for preparing and processing variable payments and sales compensation and accounting of the same.

V SPECIAL PROJECTS

  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.
  • Play a key role in ERP migration project.
  • Play a key role in payroll software migration project.
  • Play a key role in financial audits.
  • Support in preparation of accounting reports from time to time.

VI TREASURY MANAGEMENT

  • Monitoring and managing the organisations bank relationships and liquidity management
  • Daily cash management
  • Debt facilities management
  • Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
  • Cash forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and hedging requirements (if applicable)
  • Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management
