Job Description

The Role Responsibilities Department Overview:

  • Change Centre of Expertise (CoE) is an 100+ strong team under Global Finance Operations and Transformation, focussing on SCB wide Change Management for all existing Application infrastructure for Global Finance Services (GFS), including PSGL & Subsystems.
  • This function is also strongly governed by the Change Management principles, and Delivers and Manages changes that are of high value to regional Businesses of SCB spread across the world.
  • Domain experts and Project management teams work in a collaborative environment to deliver group-wide Changes across all geographies. The change governance function along with the business operations teams ensure expert impact analysis and support for rolling out system enhancements and changes into the GFS Risk and Reporting Infrastructure.
Purpose:
  • Business Analyst with a sound knowledge of Core Finance system, business and Change management areas to own change delivery for her respective area. Liaise with all geographically dispersed stakeholders from Business and Technology teams and ensure smooth delivery for strategic changes for SCB.
  • Business Analyst with Capability/Experience/Expertise to elucidate business requirements from users, understand the requirements and document them
  • Analyse the impacts of the change across other bank infrastructure and finalize a Business Solution and document it with clarity
  • Present and elucidate the Business Requirements to the technology teams, and clarify on any queries
  • Verify the Solution meets the expectations of the business solution by performing rigorous user testing, before requesting users to perform and Sign-off the UAT
  • Ensure timely delivery of all tasks / activities for changes owned by her
  • Ensure the solution complies with the laid down process steps, bank s data quality and reporting standards
  • Should be able to adapt to the changes and quickly align with the new processes, operating models and other technological changes
  • Work with different stakeholders to continuously improve efficiency of delivery of Changes. Work within a standard approach and methodology across all programme areas with relevance to financial control and reporting (e.g. requirements definition and data definition, reporting tools standardisation, and operating model)
  • Define and communicate comprehensive reporting data requirements to data and design teams across the organisation to ensure information / data required to meet business requirements is available and accessible
  • Rationalise processes and deliverables to realise efficiencies across the organisation
  • Standardise report delivery processes for management and regulatory reporting across the organisation
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation, including Lines of Business, local country Finance, Treasury, Supply Chain, Tax, Regulatory, Risk, and Data to define and implement the required Reporting Control processes
