Job Description

Developing solutions within business areas that address needs around organization design, articulating functional competencies, career architecture, job design and job evaluation. Analyzes and interprets information for one or more project workstreams to ensure business efficiency by using various analysis methodologies.Leads projects and one or more workstreams of a cross-functional project within and across Organizational Design & Talent Architecture by utilizing expertise in specialized area (for example, organizational design, job design etc.); ensuring understanding of scope of work; benchmarking with industry standards through continuous education and use of networks; establishing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders.Provides advice and guidance to global customers by ensuring adherence to proper procedures and guidelines for advising on, executing, and documenting organizational practices; demonstrating and communicating working knowledge of organizational best practices and company, legal, and regulatory human resource policies and procedures, as well as local and country-specific laws, rules, practices, and cultures; and evaluating and responding to issues and concerns regarding organization design & talent architecture practices and procedures.Manages the job evaluation process for Walmart globally by identifying business objectives and gather job information (for example, job context, job scope, complexity, business impact, organizational structure); analyzing job information and context to ensure a holistic and comprehensive review; partnering with internal teams (for example, Human Resources Business Partners) to ensure alignment and prioritization of project timelines; utilizing the job evaluation methodology to determine job leveling based on job information and related research to support organizational structures and compensation; documenting job valuation determinations and job history; overseeing system audits to ensure consistency in rationales and documentation; and benchmarking with industry experts on trends and technical enhancements to the job valuation methodology.Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.Consults with internal organizations on organization design and Talent Architecture initiatives by educating business customers on job valuation processes and practices; driving a holistic approach to ensuring organization structures, job levels, etc. to support job context and business needs; prioritizing and executing project workstreams; ensuring consistency and internal alignment across the organization; determining and communicating job levels; and identifying and closing gaps related to the job valuation, organization design and other Talent Architecture processes.,
