Job Description

Engineering & Business Service Center > Engineering > NDT Engineering function in EBSC is a Hub for all COO related engineering activities with the vision of Centre of Engineering Excellence to manufacturing value chain for sustainable energy solutions. NDT team support vestas factory across globe in the areas of evaluating Ultrasonic Testing (UT) scan data, subsequent activities like IRF documentation, NC/QDA operations and assistance with blade repair operations. Responsibilities
    • Leader of leaders - supervising 3 NDT teams of 70+ NDT professionals operating 24x 7
    • Aligns team / department / function priorities, planning and actions to the overall business goals
    • Select and retain team-members / leaders
    • Set goals, prioritise tasks, delegate and follow up
    • Coach and develop functional expertise
    • Appraise and improve team performance
    • Identify and involve business stakeholders
    • Break down silos and allocate resources
    • Responsible for department budget and finances
    Qualifications
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in the Engineering or quality or factory Technical support domain with At least 3 years as people leadership.
    • Bachelors or masters in Mechanical Engineering or Allied
    • NDT level 2 certification (Not mandatory)
    Competencies
    • Exposure to Wind turbine Blades process and inspections exposur
    • Knowledge on NDT methods and techniques.
    • Production engineering & factory technical support
    • International stakeholder management
    • Basics of project management
    • Business case understanding and strategic thinking
    • Change management
