Report To : GM - Imports Supervises : CCAI and CCSI Mumbai Region Internal Stake Holders Finance Marketing Transport Branches External Stake holders : Customers, Vendors, Custodians, Airline & Shipping line, Customs, Auditors PURPOSE OF POSITION Overall Responsibility of CC division to run operations successfully to support P & L goals . Also to improve & expand business potential by servicing customers through constantly innovating our service offered and building a world class organisation. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Ensure timely clearance of imported materials 2 Submit and if necessary follow up with the customer for all documentation 3 Ensure JFN authorisation are obtained well in time 4 Continuously up date customer progress on clearance till delivery at customer place 5 Ensure no demurrage on Account of Sindhus faults and customer time lines are met 6 Obtain prior approval for any demurrages charges from customer before proceeding 7 Achieve cost reduction in clearance expenses continuously 8 Facilitate timely billing and submission and collection as assigned 9 Support with Inputs for developing and continuous improvements of Sindhus ERP system 10 Develop team leaders and deputies to meet growing demands of the organisation 11 Analyse top client contributing to 80% of volume and improve the process discussing with team as well as client 12 Ensure compliance on customs and customers requirements including statutory and ISO certifications Skill Set Certification by Customs as a G Card Holder or Rule 6 pass Experience: Min 10 yrs of experience with 3 yrs as Manager Skill Sets & Competencies : 1 Sound knowledge on Import Procedure 2 High level of inspiring leadership skills who can provide a compelling vision to the entire team. 3 Profit Center Management and sound business accumen 4 Good analytical skill. 5 Good Communication and presentation skill 6 Learning Skills 7 Training & Mentoring 8 Entrepreneurial outlook for the business wit,
