Job Description

1. Strategy and StandardsDesign and coordinate implementation standards for WebSphere, JBOSS EAP, IIS, Tomcat and JEE & .NET related application server technologies.Should possess strong experience in web product customization and engineering.Strong experience in creating ansible playbooks, custom docker images and openshift based platform deployments.Strong experience in creating standard VM Templates for Application Servers and Amazon Machine ImagesProvisioning and Patching Automation experience is required for all web and application server products.Experience with Packer and Terraform is a Plus.Experience with Kubernetes based platforms and modern hosting technologies will be a Plus.Automate Web activities through orchestration/automation tools like RunDeck/Ansible/BSA.Strong Experience with DevOps Jenkins Pipelines to automate software builds.Create standards and best practice for Web deployments in Cloud AWS and Private Cloud.Create common tools and process across all Web application hosting platforms.Create web and application server security hardening and standards.Document and publish standards and procedures.Consult with vendors & other teams to recommend best practices and tune packages during the build cycle.Engineering and Bundling Web software s using RPM.Lead, evaluate & on-board innovative application hosting products as agreed in Web RoadMap.Customize and release Patches for reported Web Vulnerabilities.Evaluate and implement new technologies in line with bank strategy.Scripting experience using PowerShell, wsadmin, JBOSS CLI, Bash, Python is required.2. Support InfrastructureDesign and build the infrastructure required to support the Web Service.Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and techniques.Gather infrastructure requirements from stakeholders and deliver solutions to match.Support end users of the infrastructure including training and knowledge transfer.Recommend and maintain standards for monitoring and event management.3. ConsultingWhen required, provide consulting service for initiatives requiring expert Web advice.Keep current with new technical developments for potential use as solutions to requirements.Have regular knowledge transfer sessions with Web Service stakeholders including Web Support team members.4.
