Job Description

    About The Company:Aras client is leading a premier IT & ITeS Organization for the last 50 years with a pan India footprint. Over the last 40 years, we have played an integral role in helping clients succeed through many economic cycles by providing expertise and experience in delivering governance services, transportation & traffic solutions, energy management solutions, surveillance & workforce management, broadcasting solutions as well as software services aligning technology with client businesses.The Role:The person will be responsible for Presales for Energy & Utilities Business Unit (BU) domain.Key Responsibilities:
    • Should work in Tenders/ RFP for complete preparation of proposal including costing, estimating efforts involved and arrive provisional cash flows.
    • Responsible for technical bid preparation as well as preparation of compliances, system architecture, proposal technical outcomes
    • Responsible for scrutinizing the opportunities based in eligibility, do-ability and timelines.
    • Should be a team player and should be able to independently perform on pro-active technical business case.
    • Responsible for designing the energy management && monitoring solutions that meet customer requirements.
    • Should work effectively with backend teams to submit the solution / Techno commercial proposal to customer/sales team
    • Responsible for conducting POC / Solution simulation && demonstration
    • Should build the in-depth knowledge of clients business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translating into Energy solution opportunities.
    • Responsible for solution offerings and technical presentation to end customer (if required).
    • Should meet the prospective clients, gather product and integration requirements.
    • Should work closely with Sales team to close opportunities
    • Should communicate directly with the product development, product management, sales, alliance partners and vendors for bid proposal support.
    • Should build value-added relationships within the domain of the account - the trusted adviser
    • Should use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate staff && customers on value of various Energy solutions.
    • Should be ready to travel across India.
    Skills Required:
    • Design and operation of smart grid /Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)
    • Design and operation of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR)
    • Design and operation of Energy Management System (EMS)
    • Concepts of Availability Based Tariff (ABT)
    • Concepts Prepaid & & Postpaid Energy billing
    • Working with Indian Metering Standards and communication protocols like DLMS, MODBUS, OPC etcDeep understanding the bid management including RFP/Tender/RFI responses, Commercial & BOQ estimates
    • Should have advance knowledge in computing and documentations
    Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Electrical && Electronics, Electronics && Communication preferred)3 to 5 Years
